Narrative Report on 1-Day

Division Orientation on BEIS/LIS for S.Y. 2019-2020 and 2019 National School Building Inventory

With the Department of Education already in the stage of facilitating the implementation of the
web-based education information system, the Division on Uploading and Validation of Government
Elementary, Junior High School and Senior High School Profile and 2019 National School Building
Inventory the Schools Division Office of Bulacan conducted an Orientation on November 7, 2019 for the
Junior High School and Senior High School @ Klir Waterpark and resort, Sta. Rita, Guiguinto, Bulacan.
The following are the objectives of the Orientation:
1. To provide guidance to all concerned schools and learning centers in the collection of data on
basic education statistics including enrolment of learners in the system;
2. To ensure that all users who are accessing the LIS and EBEIS are accounted for and are
assigned proper access rights and priveleges in accordance to set guidelines for managing user
accounts in the LIS and EBEIS engage the learners as future care taker of the environment; and
3. To ensure that all data and information that are inputted by all users are true and accurate and
validated by all school heads; and
4. To orient the school facilitators on the 2019 National School BuildingInventory.
The 1-day Orientation starts with registration @ exactly 8:30 in the morning it was formally started with
Philippines National Anthem followed by a short pprayer and an energizer and the program officially started
with an opening remarks of our own SDS of Bulacan Germelina H. Pascual, CESO V, where she gave an
inspirational message on how LIS/BEIS coordinators handle the school data with privacy, after that Mr.
Romy Boy C. Punongbayan, BEIS/LIS coordinator of (DFDJNHS) gave an incites about Basic Education
Information Sytem, it was followed by Engr. Carl Paulo A. Fernando, Engineer III he discussed about the
National School Building Inventory on how to fill-up the new forms for NSBI he also discussed and showed
pictures of different types of school buildings so the coordinators will easily to decipher what kind of
buildings did they have in their schools. After having our lunch break we moved on to the last part of the
orientation with an enenergizer and it was officially started by Mr. Paulo Eduardo C. Cruz., Planning Officer
III- Learner Information System, he discussed everything about the LIS and he let all the BEIS/LIS coor.
To raised up their questions for clarifications and it was answered with clarity.
And lastly, to end up the activities it was done with a closing ceremonies and giving of certificates
with pictorials. Through this seminar, we were equipped and knowledgeable and properly understand what
is the real role and what the BEIS/LIS coor must do with remediations.
