Exercise is an important thing to do for me. I started playing basketball at a young age and ever since
then exercise has been a part of my life. Now that I'm a college student and that my schedule gets very
busy i still see to myself that i get enough exercise. Everyday when i get home i would go to the gym
and do my daily exercise routine. Some of the basic routines i do includes jogging and running which
improves my cardiovascular strength in which it takes a very important aspect in playing basketball
because it helps me with breathing and controlling how long my body lasts. Every time I have a game
I see to myself that I must exercise first in order to condition my body. I play basketball every time I
have a free time which is every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. I go to the gym everyday because it
has always been a habit of mine to maintain my body and to improve my lifestyle.
This is a type of exercise that strengthens and builds up chest and shoulder muscles, which is a way
needed for me to improve my arm muscle strength. As a basketball player it is required to have strong
chest muscles that will be useful in terms protection ad strength against strong players. Basketball is a
type of sport that includes body contact in which you can see in games. That is why improving the
muscles in the chest area helps me protect my body and because of that it will give me longer
endurance in playing and will improve my playing strategy in basketball.
