Study of
Galatians Chapter 2:

Galatians 2:1 Then fourteen years after I went up again to Jerusalem

with Barnabas, and took Titus with me also.

Galatians 2:2 And I went up by revelation, and communicated unto

them that gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately
to them which were of reputation, lest by any means I should run,
or had run, in vain.

Rhema: Notice what drives My servant Paul to act.- “I went up by

revelation”.

It is through the knowledge revealed by My Spirit (revelation), which

moves him to go to Jerusalem. He is solid in his relationship to Me,
His God.

You will find all through these acts of My apostles, that My Holy
Spirit does the leading, and they, My people, do the obeying. Out
of that combination comes the miraculous works that made others
say “they have turned the world upside down”!

This is not man’s work, but My Work alone!

The Question of Circumcision:

Galatians 2:3 But neither Titus, who was with me, being a Greek, was
compelled to be circumcised:

Galatians 2:4 And that because of false brethren unawares brought

in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in
Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage:

Rhema: Note Paul is now discussing the subject of circumcision as

pointing to “our liberty, which we have in Christ Jesus”.

This is a new aspect of law keeping, in relation to “circumcision”, which

I show him, so that he can reveal it to his brethren.

From now on the guidance of the Holy Spirit must dominate in

interpreting the Torah Law. However, this does not mean My Law
will in any way be compromised or done away with. Through the
Holy Spirit it will be enhanced and perfected.

As I have told all my people today, they must come out of “Babylon”
and the confusion of this world by being made separate from
Satan’s world including false religious practices, if they are to
fully benefit from the miraculous life I am leading them into.

There were people, pillars of the Church, who wanted circumcision to

continue. Because they were not aware or submitted to the
leading of My Holy Spirit, they had not yet grasped the
significance of what My Son’s sacrifice could or had done for
them.

Provided they were obedient it would completely wipe out any sin that
remained in their lives.

They had to realize that His sacrifice had performed the

circumcision in the hearts of those who accepted My Son and
where obedient to what My Holy Spirit, My Godhead was telling
them!

By suggesting circumcision should continue, these “spies”, were

attempting to interfere with this newly established liberty in My Son.
From now on they were to move in the liberty of the Spirit, rather than
in the letter of the law.

Galatians 2:5 To whom we gave place by subjection, no, not for an hour;
that the truth of the gospel might continue with you.

Galatians 2:6 But of these who seemed to be somewhat, (whatsoever

they were, it maketh no matter to me: God accepteth no man’s person:) for
they who seemed to be somewhat in conference added nothing to me:

Rhema: Although these interferers, “ spies”, where more experienced

doctrinally than himself, Paul would have none of it, for had not
Jesus Christ himself revealed the new understanding?

Don’t forget Paul and everyone had access, at least to the oral
traditions of the Torah, which clearly advocated physical
circumcision. Gamaliel himself, the great teacher of the Torah
had been Paul’s teacher, yet Paul, having met My Son face-to-face,
recognized straight away that he must accept My Son’s additional
teaching as the next great leading forward of My Plan for the
Gentile world, rather than that of Gamaliel’s present teaching .

And this of course was to become a two-edged sword, which Satan

would use to confuse the world through it’s pagan teachings, which
shortly would dominate the religions, churches and world systems,
prior to the second coming of My Son, now soon to take place, and
about which almost no one is aware!

Peter and Paul have separate commissions:

Galatians 2:7 But contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel of the
uncircumcision was committed unto me, as the gospel of the
circumcision was unto Peter;

Galatians 2:8 (For he that wrought effectually in Peter to the

apostleship of the circumcision, the same was mighty in me, Paul
(toward the Gentiles:)

Rhema: Paul is led to recognize again through the Holy Spirit that he
had been ordained to preach the gospel of “uncircumcision” to the
Gentiles, while Peter was to continue to preach the gospel
of “ circumcision”to the Jews.

However, Through Paul, I explain that there is ONLY

one Gospel in My Son.

My People can do what they like on this issue, provided, they understand it is
only by My Son that Salvation comes.

In this way “circumcision does not become a divisive issue, and will be dealt
with later by Myself, when I mingle the two sticks of Judah and Israel in My
Hand, when I finally return the whole house of Israel to their land. This has
not happened yet.

The 1948 influx to the Zionist State of Israel, was a crafty move of Satan
to deceive the world, by which chaos has been created ever since!
Remember, I am allowing Satan still to be god of this world, but only for a
brief time!

However, in Galatians 5:5 Paul points out, that those sticking

to the old circumcision law are “debtors to do the whole law”. Because they
now put themselves under the whole law, they place themselves under
the old burden of keeping the whole law.

What is that burden? If only one law is broken, they are cursed, for they
have broken the whole law.

However, once they are obedient to Christ, they are then living IN Christ
and Christ in them. They are then cleansed, and forgiven of breaking any
part of the Law immediately and for ever!

To stand alone IN Christ is what fulfils the whole law. There is no

condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus!

Galatians 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath
made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage

Galatians 5:2 Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ
shall profit you nothing.

Galatians 5:3 For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is
a debtor to do the whole law.

Galatians 5:6 For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor
uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.

Galatians 5:11 And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet

suffer persecution? Then is the offence of the cross ceased.

Galatians 6:15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing,
nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.

Rhema: So you might ask am I(the Almihgty) saying that circumcision is

done away with?
Answer “No”.
So what am I saying?
It is a circumcision of the heart and not of the flesh I am talking about.
This is on a far higher plane, just like to commit adultery,
no longer consists of only an act, but even a thought in the mind.

Ephesians 2:15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of
commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain
one new man, so making peace;

So this is how I kept My Word both to Jew and Gentile.

Note I never compromise with other religions or pagans practices as My

church does by accepting their customs, as the Roman Catholic Church has
always done; hence the numerous pagan feasts and processions, especially in
South American countries, and Sunday Worship and Saint’s days in the
Protestant world.

I have my own days of worship and feast days which most of my people
disregard!

Exodus 12:14 And this day (Passover) shall be unto you for a memorial; and
ye shall keep it a feast to the LORD throughout your generations; ye shall
keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever.

Rhema: This command was given by Me to the Israelites under Moses, not
just to Judah (Jews).

Rhema: Those, the world over, who accept My Son and show it through
obedience to the Holy Spirit are now Israel, whether Jew or Gentile. My
Holy Spirit never breaks any of My laws, which I have established eternally,
nor condones those who do.

Romans 2:25 For circumcision verily profiteth, if thou keep the law: but if
thou be a breaker of the law, thy circumcision is made uncircumcision.

Romans 2:26 Therefore if the uncircumcision keep the righteousness of the

law, shall not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision?

Galatians 2:9 And when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars,
perceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas

the right hands of fellowship; that we should go unto the heathen(Gentiles),

and they unto the circumcision (Jews).

Galatians 2:10 Only they would that we should remember the poor; the same
which I also was forward to do.

Galatians 2:11 ¶ But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to
the face, because he was to be blamed.

Galatians 2:12 For before that certain came from James, he did eat with
the Gentiles: but when they were come, he withdrew and separated himself,
fearing them which were of the circumcision.

Galatians 2:13 And the other Jews dissembled likewise with him; insomuch
that Barnabas also was carried away with their dissimulation.

Galatians 2:14 But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to
the truth of the gospel, I said unto Peter before them all, If thou, being a
Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why
compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews?

Rhema: notice here how Paul, a newcomer to my gospel was prepared to

challenge the leaders of my church when I prompted him to do so; and also
how Peter had the humility and wisdom to receive the new understanding.

Galatians 2:15 We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles,

Galatians 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law,
but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that
we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the
law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

Rhema: Note, although, My Law is to be kept forever, it cannot save a single

person. Only faith and obedience to Jesus Christ can achieve this Salvation.
That is why the Jews while keeping My Laws, MUST accept My Son.

Galatians 2:17 But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves

also are found sinners (ie breaking the law, for “sin is the transgression of
the law” 1 John 3:4) is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid.

Galatians 2:18 For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make
myself a transgressor.

Galatians 2:19 For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live
unto God.

Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but
Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the
faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Galatians 2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness

come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

Rhema: If My Law is broken, then sin is in the camp (1John 3:4), and My
Son’s redeeming life is halted till repentance is requested and granted. My
Son’s Sacrifice does not cover wilful sin if continued, however much the
depth of pleading.

Heartfelt Repentance and reliance totally on My Son, must come first.

There are many who bear the fruits of sin but refuse to repent and
CHANGE, and then wonder why they are still suffering. I want to give them
good health, but I can have nothing to do with unrepented sin.

There are some, however, who through mercy I heal, to show MY Power. “ I
will have mercy on whom I will have mercy”

John 9:2 And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man,
or his parents, that he was born blind?

John 9:3 Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents:
but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.

Simply does not exist.
