WAIVER AND QUIT CLAIM

I hereby certify that I am in good health, medically able and trained to run the distance of the race which
I am joining. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to my ability to safely complete the
run. I assume all risks associated with running in this event including, but not limited to: falls, contact
with other participants, the effects of weather including heat and/or humidity, traffic and the conditions
of the road, all such risks being known and appreciated by me.

Having read this waiver and known these facts and in consideration of your accepting my entry into this
running race, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the Ateneo de
Manila University – its officers, directors, administrators, faculty, staff, contractors, volunteers, security
guards, employees, race organizers, sponsors, all their representatives – from all claims or liabilities of
any kind arising out of my participation (i.e. loss of personal things within the venue and the university
premises, damage/s to my vehicle in the university parking areas) in this event even though that liability
may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this event.

I grant permission to all of the foregoing to use any photographs, motion pictures, recordings, or any
other record of this event for any legitimate purpose, provided such use is in accordance with the
Campus Photo Shoot Policy and Guidelines.

If I am under 18 years of age at the time of registration, my parent or legal guardian has completely
viewed this and accepted the terms of this waiver. Moreover, I am aware that the organizers reserve the
right to remove me from the race or from the assembly grounds for unlawful or unsportsmanlike
behavior.
