EC-1 Lab Understanding of Sensors and PID tuning, Building mathematical models that uses Sensor outputs to control an automotive
component.
Weightage 20%
*It is essential for the students to participate in the Bootcamps conducted in the campus for the successful
completion of the program.
By performing the assigned Experiential Learning modules, the students will be able to:
1. Able to control the response of a physical system to a desired/appropriate set point values that varies dynamically due
to on-road conditions of a running vehicle by implementing closed-loop feedback controls.
2. Able to understand the calibration of sensors and develop reference tables to build control logics to minimize the error
using PI/PID control system.
3. Able to understand the changes with system’s behavior using a Stateflow machine where the response will be based
on their defined state.
