QUESTION
How to cleanup NO_HW for disks in ioscan without a reboot?
ANSWER
The following info is solely based upon my testing.

It is possible to remove devicefiles with the rmsf command and cleanup io

in some instances. When a disk or disk array is bound to the sdisk drive
is possible to use the rmsf -H command with predictable results. We can
remove the NO_HW for the class disk, but if a class target has NO_HW this
remain until a reboot. This is especially helpful for cleaning up disk a
configuration changes. If the disk is bound to the disc3 driver you will
to reboot.
