Matching contrasting
colors and right side
together, sew two 19cm
squares, maintaining a
0.75cm seam allowance .

Leave 5cm opening and


trim corners. (3-4)

Turn inside out from the
opening, poke a
toothpick into angles to
assure crisp corners. (5-
6)

Blind stitch opening


closed and then lightly
press. (7-8)

Fold each side inwards by 3cm, overlapping as


shown. (9-10)

Press and pin in place. (11)

You need to open out first folded corner and tuck in


fabric from last fold.

Pull out point A
completely, aligning
edges as shown. (12-13)

Make two small stitches to
hold layers together,
stitching close to but not
through base. (14)

Open out points then


flatten as shown to make
squares at each corner.

Press and pin in place. (16-17)

Turn over, pull one point to center turning down the
petal. (18)

Make two stitches through all layers to hold in place. (19)

Repeat with opposite point.

Repeat the same with the remaining two points.
