 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Organization study encompasses study of organization from multiple viewpoints methods and levels
of analysis.

Organization study is a part of MBA program which a student has to undergo during their course of
study. It narrows the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical situations. Training makes a
knowledge man into an experienced one. The principal objective of the study is to inter-relate the theoretical
aspects with practical things that are moving in industry, and studying the organization as a whole.

I underwent an organizational study at KIS Group to acquaint myself with the business environment for a
period of four weeks during the period of July 2018 as a part of the MBA curriculum at VTU University.
This study was conducted to understand the structure, function and processes of various departments and
their interdependence.

This study is mainly aimed at an overall experience to the working of an organization and to know
the theoretical aspects I develop in the classroom with organization function. The study has been conducted
by collecting relevant data from the journals and records of KIS Group, during the course of the project.

The report mainly deals with Introduction about the Organization Study, Theoretical background,
rationale of the study or company. Company profile and industry profile in details.

The remaining part of the report deals with Competitive Analysis, it includes SWOT analysis, Mckensy’s 7S
model, Porter’s five model and the final summary
