Leadership Goals
 Data coach
o Short-term objective: lead additional professional development on our
current assessment program for TK-2 teachers.
 Rationale: Furthering our use of a common assessment tool will allow
for greater understanding and utilization of data. (Common

 NBPTS: Proposition 3-Teachers are responsible for managing and
monitoring student learning
 TLMD: Domain V: Promoting the use of assessments and data for school
and district improvement
o Long-term objective: expand my knowledge and use of additional
assessment programs and tools for grades TK-2 to share with my team.
 Rationale: Varying assessment types ensure mastery of the content

 NBPTS: Proposition 5-Teachers are members of learning communities
 TLMD: Domain III: Promoting professional learning for continuous
improvement
 Instructional Specialist
o Short-term objective: attend and share out researched-based literacy
professional developments with my grade level team.
 Rationale: Literacy in ECE is important and complex and requires deeper
study. (NAEYC)
 NBPTS: Proposition 3-Teachers are responsible for managing and
monitoring student learning
 TLMD: Domain II: Accessing and using research to improve practice and
student learning
o Long-term objective: start a masters program with a focus on literacy in
grades TK-2
 Rationale: Continuing to further my practice will allow me to better

 NBPTS: Proposition 2-Teachers know the subjects they teach and how to
teach those subjects to students
 TLMD: Domain III: Promoting professional learning for continuous
improvement
 Resource Provider
o Short-term objective: facilitate the full incorporation of ESGI in grades TK-2
 Rationale: Supporting my fellow teachers will help us all develop our
practice and allow us to better evaluate student data. (Professional

 NBPTS: Proposition 5-Teachers are members of learning communities
 TLMD: Domain I: Fostering a collaborative culture to support educator
development and student learning
o Long-term objective: Create a website or hub with links to the vast number
or resources we use as a grade level so they are accessible and organized.
 Rationale: This will make website and resources easier to access and
share. (Organization)
 NBPTS: Proposition 4-Teachers think systematically about their practice
and learn from experience
 TLMD: Domain I: Fostering a collaborative culture to support educator
development and student learning
