As reflected on the movie the other insight on the film was Truman being turned into an art by the
producer-director, who has made billions trapping him in a stage set and playing God with his life. He
created a world that he can control as he pleases, to the extent of playing god, he used a human being
to show his mad artwork to the masses and that is terrifying. “Something’s being a work of art doesn’t
excuse you from moral considerations,” says critic Arthur Danto. Playing with someone’s life is so
horrible but risking everything for art is somewhat bearable.
