BUS IDENTIFICATION SYSTEM FOR VISUALLY

IMPAIRED PEOPLE
Objective:
Objective of the project is Bus Identification System for Visually
Impaired People.
Brief methodology:

Hardware requirements:
 Micro controller
 ZIGBEE TRANSCEIVER
 Keypad
 Vice board
 Speaker
 Relay driver
 Buzzer
Software requirements:
 Keil software
 C language

ZIGBEE Transceiver is placed in each stations it transmits the Bus

number and stop name; Bus number may be change by using keypad.
ZIGBEE Transceiver is placed in every train to receive the information
signals of station transmitting signals.
 Received signal is given to micro controller for identifying station
name; micro controller is display the station name in each
compartment’s individually.LCD display is used for display the station
name and theft signals. Keypad is used for produce the information
about theft to Bus conductor and indicate siren. Voice board is used for
announce the station name to passengers; it is controlled by micro
controller. Micro controller is activating the voice board and saved
station name is announced by using speaker.
