ACTIVITY DESIGN

TITLE OF ACTIVITY: BLOOD LETTING ACTIVITY with the Theme: “Dugo

Mo, Kinabuhi Ko”.

VENUE: Barangay 18- Obrero Covered court

PARTICIPANTS: Clustered Barangay (Brgy. Agusan Pequeño, Brgy. Babag,

Brgy. Pagatpatan, Brgy. Bading, Brgy. Holy Redeemer)

RATIONALE:

The Local Government of Butuan thru the LIGA Office will conduct a Bloodletting activity on June
14, 2019 at the Barangay Obrero covered court wherein several people from different walks of life
were gathered to share their lives voluntarily by means of giving their blood. This activity must be
attended by clustered barangay (Brgy. Agusan Pequeño, Brgy. Babag, Brgy. Pagatpatan, Brgy.
Bading, and Brgy. Holy Redeemer).

Likewise, the Republic Act No. 7719 otherwise known as National Blood Services Act of 1994 aims
to create public consciousness on the importance of voluntary, non-remunerated blood donation
(VNRBD) in saving the lives of millions of Filipinos.

OBJECTIVES:

The primary objective of the said activity is to collect a variety of blood products that will be
utilized in saving the lives of patients especially among in-patients who are in need of blood. Every
day, the Blood bank serves an average of 15-20 patients who are in need of blood product.
