CROCHET ALPACA AMIGURUMI PATTERN

Materials Measurement
Hook: 5.00mm (body) and 3.50mm (feet) Height: 23cm
Yarn: Bernat Pipsqueak (body) and worsted (feet) Length: 21cm
Felting wool for face Width: 7cm
Felt for inner ear
12mm safety eyes

Head
R1: 6 sc in MR (6sts)
R2: *2sc* 6 times (12sts)
R3: sc around (12sts)
R4: *sc, 2sc* 6 times (18sts)
R5: *sc 2, 2sc* 6 times (24sts)
R6: *sc 3, 2sc* 6 times (30sts)
R7: *sc 4, 2sc* 6 times (36sts)

Make and attach face (put eyes below the MR bump)

Face
Nose/Mouth Piece
~ Use white felting wool and roll into a ball
~ Felt it into an oval shape and hold it up to the head to see how big you want it
~ Use a little bit of black felting wool to make the nose and mouth
Eye Patch
~ With white felt, cut two small circles (1 cm bigger than safety eyes)
~ Cut a small X in the center of the circle
~ Attach the mouth onto the head with pins
~ Position the eyes to where you want them
~ Place safety eye in both the X of the eye patch and the head and attach the
backing (make sure you have the right position before attaching backing)
~ Use embroidery thread to attach eye patch and mouth piece to face

Ears (make 2)
R1: 5 sc in MR (5sts)
R2: *2sc* 5 times (10sts)
R3-6: sc around (10sts)
Fasten off leaving a long tail
Using white felt, cut two pieces for the inner ear
Attach to the ears using white embroidery thread
Fold the bottom in half and sew together
Attach whole ear to the head
Body
R1: 6 sc in MR (6sts)
R2: *2sc* 6 times (12sts)
R3: *sc, 2sc* 6 times (18sts)
R4: *sc 2, 2sc* 6 times (24sts)
R5: *sc 3, 2sc* 6 times (30sts)

With pipsqueak yarn and 5.00mm hook
R5-8: sc around (12sts)

Stuff and attach to body

1) Wrap a piece of pipsqueak yarn (or the yarn you used for the head/body) around
the eye patches and top/bottom of mouth piece to hide the embroidery thread
2) You can leave the legs spread apart or you can use a piece of pipsqueak yarn to
pull both legs together (pull through both legs and tie a knot and then weave in
ends)
