Amusement Park Madness!

You need to design a new amusement park for the community using
your knowledge of graphs and ordered pairs! All you will need is a
pencil, an eraser, a ruler, and your imagination!
You will have 1 week to complete this task but will be given 3 class
periods to work. While in the classroom, there will be sample sizes of
attractions that you may use to get your ideas!
For your design, you will be outlining the space each attraction will use
up (rectangles). You will be provided with a piece of graph paper to
complete the design on. In your amusement park design, you must
include:
 1 Ferris Wheel
 1 Roller Coaster
 1 Merry-Go-Around
 2 Popcorn Stands
 2 Bathrooms
 1 Attraction of Your Choice
After you have designed your amusement park, you need to label each
attraction as well as all the vertices of each attraction. On a separate
piece of paper, you will need to calculate the area and perimeter of
each attraction. Your calculations will be made by using each square on
the graph paper as a unit.
Your final project can be in any form you choose whether it be a book,
a poster, or something else!
Have fun and go get designing!
