1. INTRODUCTION

Mumbai Metro Line 7 Andheri East (-0.525) to Dahisar East-Excluding (15.450) of Mumbai
Metro Rail Project of MMRDA rail project proposes providing elevated corridor with 25 KV
Single Phase electrified Standard Gauge Railway system. It has one corridor and 13 Metro
stations as given below. Project Map for Mumbai Metro Line 7-Andheri East (-0.525) to
Dahisar East-Excluding (15.450) of Mumbai Metro Rail Project of MMRDA is enclosed as
Annexure-6 of particular specifications.

1.1 To control and monitor the metro railway system, a centralized Operational Control Centre
(OCC – 19°09’48.0”N ,72°51’38.3”E(tentative)) and Admin building will be located at Aarey..
However, till construction/commissioning of OCC at Aarey, operation of Traction/auxiliary
power supply system will be controlled from Back Up Control Centre (BCC) located in
Charkop depot.. This will subsequently act as Back Up Control Centre later when OCC
becomes functional at Aarey.
