2. SCOPE OF WORK

2.1 General

I. The project consists of 17 km elevated Corridor having 13 stations.

II. The Overhead Electric Traction System includes provision of Feeding Post on via-duct,
switching posts, Booster transformers, return conductor, OHE network, OPC, BEC ,
earthing & bonding etc.

III. Along the corridor there are 13 nos. Metro stations each with dedicated ASS (scope of
other contractor). Additionally, one ASS is dedicated for main OCC at Aarey.

IV. The scope of work under the Contract comprises “Design, detailed engineering,
validation/right sizing of various equipments, manufacture, delivery, installation, testing,
commissioning (including integrated testing and commissioning).Attending emergency
breakdowns during execution.. Lapping and polishing of contact wire, current collection
tests, trial running, supply of Maintenance Spares, O&M Manuals, training, As Built
Documentation, co-ordination with Designated Contractors and other obligations of
complete OHE,” but is not limited to the following:

V. 25 kV Switching Posts: The Mumbai Metro Line 7 - Andheri East (-0.525) to Dahisar
East-Excluding (15.450) of Metro Rail Project of MMRDA Corridor shall be fed at 25kV,
Single phase AC through feeding post as clarified above. The OHE shall be divided into
several sub-sectors comprising Sectioning and Paralleling Posts (SP), and Sub-
Sectioning & paralleling Post (SSP). Neutral section shall be installed in order to
separate the 25kV single phase supply fed by two consecutive Receiving Substations.
