6.3 Laboratories: Maintenance and overall ambience (10)
Flowchart: Process of Maintenance of Laboratory Equipment:
Maintenance of Laboratory equipment:

1. Dos, Don’ts and Safety measure rules are displayed in each laboratory.
2. Qualified Technical Staff are available for day-to-day maintenance of Electronic equipment’s and software.
3. Uninterrupted power supply of 30 KVA (4 no) and 20KVA UPS, 240 V along with Batteries are being maintained.
4. Servicing of each equipment is done as and when required.
5. Calibration of the equipment’s are done periodically.
6. Internet facility of 170 Mbps is maintained for students and faculty usage.
7. All necessary licensed software’s like Microsoft office, supporting and technical software, antivirus etc, are installed and being
maintained.
8. Stock book, Service request book, Equipment maintenance book, consumable lab stock book and log book are being maintained.

Overall Ambience
1. Department has Full furnished State of Art laboratories with well-equipped equipment’s which shall cater to all UG courses as per
curriculum requirements.
2. Chairs and working Benches are in good condition. Chair with desk is provided for individual student in Labs.
3. Component Issue counter are been provided in all laboratories.
4. Department has experienced faculty to educate students in all the fields of engineering.
5. All the labs are conducted and evaluated weekly. .
6. Labs are equipped with sufficient hardware and licensed software to run program specific curriculum.
7. Laboratory manual are distributed to students.
8. Sufficient number of windows is available for ventilation and natural light and every lab has one exit.
9. Cup-boards are available in each lab for students to place their belongings.
10. Each Lab is equipped with projector, white/black board, computer, Internet, and other amenities.
11. Research laboratory/department library is available for all faculties and students to carry out research work and projects.
12. A project lab has been provided exclusively for the students to carry out their project work.
13. UPS facility is available in Laboratories.
