or thin plastic coatings establishes the slight
endplay. According to Caterpillar track 2 9U-7689 Bushing Assembly Base
assembly specifications, pin projection is 2 9U-7690 Bushing Assembly Base
established and controlled on one side only. 2 9U-7691 Bushing Assembly Body
Due to the “stack-up” of tolerances throughout 2 9U-76881 Bushing Assembly Plunger
the track joint, it is necessary to assemble the 2 169-06422 Bushing Assembly Plunger
joint one side at a time. In contrast, bushing
2 9U-77901 Pin Disassembler
projection is controlled on both sides of the
track joint. Thus, the two bushing assembly 2 169-06432 Pin Disassembler
plungers are both the same length resulting in 2 9U-77911 Bushing Disassembler
the same projection. The establishment of 2 169-06412 Bushing Disassembler
proper bushing projection is critical to ensure 1 9U-7824 Link Spacer
that adjacent links do not scrub against one 1 9U-7823 Link Spacer
another.
