Dear Sir,

I am writing this letter to apply for the post of Structure Engineer. I am a Nepal Engineering
Council registered Civil Engineer. I went through the job description and I have got a good
experience for all the bullets mentioned there. Please go through my CV, to view the details of my
job experience and my duties there.

In my recent job, I worked as a Project Manager of the contractor, where I had to coordinate with
petty contractor and Client (Nepal Government). Constructions of various civil structures were
performed under my supervision, following standard norms and practice. Design review,
preparation of variation order for civil works is very common in case of large budget projects and
I am very familiar with these works too. Project Scheduling is very much required for timely and
successful completion of any project and monitoring the progress as per schedule, was part of my
duty. During the various stages of construction, Interim Payment Certificates are much required
and progress reports are much required and upon the completion of the project, final bill and Work
completion report needs to be prepared and as project manager, I have performed all such jobs.

I have got a good knowledge of various application software required for a Civil Engineer,
AutoCAD, SAP 2000, Civil 3D, Arc GIS. Working as a instructor of these software and using
them daily has groomed my working skills. Preparation of quantity survey report (estimation), rate
analysis, bid documents are jobs I have performed and good at those too. Working with a team of
architects, petty contractor has sharpen my leadership quality and dealing with the multiple
stakeholders like clients, local society etc is duty I am familiar with. Working under high pressure
has always been my favorite part of work and I have always enjoyed it. Even though I don’t have
a 5+ years of relevant experience, I would like to ensure that I could be the best fitting candidate
for the position I have applied for.
