Effectives Ways to Practice Technique:

(Make sure you master all major and minor scales, in intervals, with different
articulation and dynamics first. You can apply these techniques alongside the
following below.)

(Apply these devices to any type of scale your working on in all 12 keys or arpeggio.
Also practice in all four directions (Up-Up, Up-Down, Down-Down, Down-Up)

1. Rhythm:
Practice Arpeggios, Scales, Scales in Intervals, and etc. in Triplets,
Quintuplets, etc.

2. Articulation/Note Grouping:
Practice Arpeggios, Scales, Scales in Intervals, etc. and slur and accent on
different beats to create note groups of 2,3, etc. This would create varying
downbeats/ rhythms. Add new rhythms or articulation that you discover from
listening to pro musicians, into your practice exercises.

3. Using Larger Intervals:

Create and practice patterns that include perfect fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh,
eighth, ninth intervals, (you can alternate between what interval is
descending/ascending)

4. Using Chromaticism and Enclosures:

Practice using chromatic approach notes for each arpeggio, scale, or
whatever your working on. Use chromatic lower neighbours or upper
neighbours before the first note that your going to play. For enclosures, play
half steps above and below the first note your going to play. Create patterns
of your own.
