NARRATIVE REPORT
Dr. Ma. Daisy S. Jacalne delivers her first 100 days report to the Parents of
Canan National High School, during the 2nd Quarter Parents - Teachers
Assembly attended by 165 parents from different year levels of Junior High
School and Senior High School Department on October 26, 2019 at Canan
NHS gymnasium.
Dr. Jacalne marked her first 100 days on October 26 as CNHS School
Head upon her appointment, effective on July 15, 2019.
Under her administration, Jacalne emphasizes students’ improvements in
discipline is essential in pursuit of academic excellence.

More of the improvements updates over her 100 days are:

1)School rules and regulations were established as agreed upon the school
and parents during the first General Assembly last August 19.
2)Students’ attendance during flag ceremony have increased to 95% with
proper haircut and complete uniform with I.D.
3)In terms of physical facilities, all classrooms are now ventilated and well
lighted.
4)Gutter on the front rooms and pipes in the washing area were installed.
5)Administration Office was renovated.
6)Contests in different areas were fully supported.
7)Communication and collaboration with the stakeholders:parents and
barangay officials were also established for the improvement of the pathway
and Gulayan sa Paaralan.

Further developments of students, school’s facilities and teachers’

professional development were also discussed as her goals.

Other speakers are Mr. Elanio S. Antonio - CNHS Guidance Councilor, Mr.
Romeo Ibuan - CNHS Master Teacher and Faculty President both talks about
students’ consistency of following the rules and regulations of the school and
seeks help from the parents in disciplining the students. However, , Brgy
Captain of Canan Sur Bgry.CApt. Noli Veloria represented by Mr.Jose Veloria
the Brgy Consultant, Brgy Capt. Alfredo CAstaneda represented by Brgy
Councilor Leonardo Ibuan both talk and vow to help the school in every

programs and endeavors. PTA President Mr. Eduardo Mamaril and PTA Vice
President Mrs. Erlinda Piol at the same time lunch PTA fund raising activity,
Bingo Bonanza to build PTA Conference Room and help Dr. Jacalne to her
goals in improving Canan NHS.

Jacalne also said “ These improvements are not because of me alone, it is

made possible through the cooperation of you, our very supportive parents,
dear teachers and also the students”

She further said that “Through unity and cooperation among us will make
Canan National HS at the height of improvement for our students’ learning.”
