Minutes

1. Introduction
- Welcome speech form Director
- official member list will be finished by the end of Oct
- IADS MYM Bosnia (16-21/2, 2020) registration starts at 21 Oct, registration fee: 400 Euro

2. Action plan Presentation

A. Director Action plan
- Propose an Online voting system to the General Assembly(GA)
- A group with all delegates in the region has been set up if officers need to contact them can
ask the director for help
- Planning to have an MOU with APDSA
- Discussion on MOU:
The officers had discussed on the interest-relationship between both association and the
concerns about having an MOU. The director agreed and clarified that MOU is an agreement
stating the way of collaboration between IADS and APDSA, not a contract on particular
events, will upload and have another more in-depth discussion, if needed, on that after the
draft documents are finished

B. Vice Director
- Work with the director on the proposal of ‘online voting policy’
- Regular presentation and updates to the delegates
- Comment from officers:
To have an agreement from AP delegates before going straightly to the GA

C. RExRelO
- Contacting the Gos and NGOs
- Having the MOU with APDSA since mid of Oct
- Joining the IDEM to promote IADS and seeking for more partners/ sponsors
- Comments from officers:
About attending the events as an IADS delegate has to ask permission from the chairman of
ExRel. Committee, or can only join as an individual participant.

D. REO
- Feeding back that a lot of students are interested in exchange in Japan
- Collect the information about the exchange program in different countries
- Promoting the ICEP in AP region
- Comments from officers:
Can have a booklet with all the data ( timetable, duration, fees, etc.) for the AP region
Can try to recruit more countries to join the ICEP

E. RSO
- More Workshops (or webinar) at AP region
- Work on Dental Student’s Research Journal (DSRJ) by setting up paper submission system
- Comments from officers:
The scientific program should run in long term. And the directors will pass a list of sponsors
that might help the workshops.
 F. RTO
- Proposing the ‘10 great leaders program’ for the 10 best alumni to join the training program
in the future to provide sustainable support to the members.
- Will have further updates during the next meeting.

G. RPO
- Marketing the IADS’s prophylaxis events through social media
- Work with the committee on the social media campaign
- Will contact the delegates to help to spread the news among their country
- A topical application fluoride to children and special needs will be held in the region on
20/3/2020

Can help to spread the news in the messenger group of delegates (contact Mizuki)

H. RFO
- Preparing the sponsorship materials with the fundraising committee
- Contact the former RFO to seek and keep the sponsors' support
- Comment from officers:
Ask for the sponsorship list from IADS and local organisation to find for more potential
sponsorships

I. RPrO
- Contacting other countries which are not IADS member, e.g. Pakistan
- Increase local and international collaboration with NGOs and INGOs
- Vlogs and awareness videos for promoting oral health
- Comments from officers :
APDSA has more member in the region, can recruit those members that are not in the IADS

J. RVO
- Finding regional areas where there is no basic dental e
- Establishing mous with medical organisation inorder to conduct joint ivps
- Finding organisation and obtaining sponsorship
- Starting of our journal

3. Schedule for next meeting

The next online meeting will held in late Dec, the exact date and meeting agenda will come out
later.
