Abah Jagat's biography and l

He was born in Purwakarta 21st of October 1976.He has a wife, named Hj. Siti Amaniah Rahman
Hakim. And he has two daughters, the first is Ayesha Ainayya Failasufa, and the second is Kayla
Cahya Hayati.

He started to study as a student of Pondok Pesantren Persatuan Islam in Tasikmalaya and he

continued his study to IAIN Syarif Hidayatullah in department of communication and
broadcasting of Islam. After finished his undergraduate in Indonesia, he decided to study
abroad. Then,he got scholarship to study in Canada. Exactly in McGill University School of Social
Work, Montreal, Canada. With a thesis tilted "Modernization of Social Work and The State : A
critical Survey of its Development in Indonesia". And now he still study to got his PhD in Tilburg
University, Netherlands.

Kh.Budi Rahman Hakim or we used to call him "Abah Jagat" is the founder of Jagat Arsy
International Boarding School. Abah Jagat has so many job and one of his job is Chief Executive
Officer (CEO) National Political Daily also holding company Rakyat Merdeka Group, Jawa Pos
Group.

Before he became a very successful man, he began since he was kid. He helped his father to sell
shoes after school. And after finish his senior high school he wants to continue his study to
Jakarta. So, he chose IAIN Syarif Hidayatullah in department of communication and broadcasting
of Islam . During his study he work as an activist in his University, and while doing his
undergraduate he also start to learn and speak English. Although he just start to learn English,
with his hard work he can proof to all the people that a village boy like him could get
scholarship to study abroad. So, he went to Canada for 2,5 years. After finished his master
degree in Canada, he started to work at media company as a journalist. Abah Jagat is kinda
workaholic and easy going person, that's why he could easier to get business partner and
colleagues work.

After he became a successful business man, he put interest to join Thoriqah, so he found a way
in TQN(Thoriqah Qadiriyah wan Naqsyabandiah). Then he met TQN's mursyid, which is Syeikh
Muhammad Abdul Gaos Saefullah Maslul and be grateful to him. And he decided to make a
boarding school, exactly JAGAT 'ARSY INTERNATIONAL Boarding School.
