Tell Me About Yourself

Hi, I AM Mohd. Sharique Zama. I am from Mumbai. I completed my b.com honours from guru nanak
college which is affiliated to madras university. I completed my 12th from kendriya Vidyalaya school,
tambaram with 82% from cbse board. My family include my father who works for Indian air force,
my mother who is a house wife and my sister who is working in a startup company called riddl. I
have played badminton and cricket both at regional levels during my school days. During my
graduation, I have gone for a total of 14 weeks internships in 4 different companies which was a part
of the curriculum. Apart from that I have also worked as a stock trader for about one year.

And my hobbies include gaming and body building.

What are stocks? Stocks are securities that represent an ownership share in a company.

Riidl is an incubation centre which helps early based startups by providing them work space and help
them to meet angel investors.

Why do you wish to do an MBA?

Strength?

Weaknesses?

I have a weakness of trembling, when put to public speaking and I am an extremely introverted
person, which makes it hard for me to share my ideas during group settings. I have a bad habit of
doing task at the end of deadline.

Opportunities?

Increase in no. of startups looking out for business management employees.

Threats?

The current economy and job market is unstable now a days

Increasing competition in every field


Why should we select you?

Sir, I feel knowledge of Finance, Marketing, HR and other functions will help me in producing
better results, in terms of growth & profitability, in any organization. For this purpose, I
would like to learn in a systematic manner about finance, marketing, sales, production,
inventory control, human resources management etc. I am very serious about this and I am
sure that I will do well in MBA, even better than my past performance.
