2 Overview

Download Tool used to transfer the application file, dynamic file, desktop file, font file to POS
machine. And also can use this tool to synchronize time between pos and PC.

3 Operations

3.1 Setup the communication parameter

Two communication methods supported.

1. Serial port
Connect the POS and PC with serial cable.

 Select “Port” button and select port number in the combo box list. Select a baud rate number
in the baud rate list.
2. TCP/IP

Select “TCP/IP” button, click the “refresh” button. All of the variable POS will display in the
combo box list then select a POS in the list.

3.2 Query POS Information

Click the “Refresh” button, the terminal information and the user files will display.

After select a file item then click “Delete” button the selected file were deleted from POS.

3.3 Setup Download Tasks

Right click on the “Download task” area, a popup menu will display.

“Add User Directory”

“Add Application Directory”

“Add File”

 “Remove”
Select a item in the task tree view control then click “remove” in the popup menu.

3.4 Close package

Close package file.

3.5 Open a package

Open a download package file.

3.6 Save package

Save package to file.

3.7 Save As package

Save package to file with different file name.

3.8 Download

 Click “Download” button to start download.

3.9 Language Selection

Click in the left of the application title, then click “Language” menu button.

Select “Language” in the combo box then click “OK” button.

After “OK” button clicked, must restart the program.
