Victorias Milling Company, Inc. (VMC) is one of the biggest producers of raw and refined
sugar in the Philippines. It currently holds the biggest share of refined sugar production in the
province of Negros, and in the rest of the country as well. These amount to a 23.73% and 12.63%
market share, respectively. (Based on 2014 figures)
VMC’s sugar operations consist of two-mill tandems with a combined rated grinding
capacity of 15,000 tonnes of cane daily. One is the VMC Walkers Mill or the “A” Mill, designed by
Walkers Limited of Australia. It has a grinding capacity of 10,000 tonnes of sugarcane per day. The

and a Refinery capable of producing 25,000 to 27,000 50-kg bags of refined sugar daily. The Core
Sampling System, a technology that reflects the true quality of each cane sample and eliminates the
inadequacies of old systems, complements the factory.

Victorias Foods Corporation (VFC) is a company primarily engaged in the businesses of
canned fish and meat processing. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Victorias Milling Company, Inc.
(VMC).
The company introduced its first commercial production of Victorias’ brand Spanish Style
Hot Sardines and Hot Bangus in the late ‘70s. As consumer tastes expanded, new variants
of Bangus and Sardines were introduced in the ‘90s as well. Soon after, the brand’s Luncheon Meat
was introduced to complement its hot-selling product line.
VFC made its breakthrough in meat processing when it launched its sweet tasting American
Cooked Ham, Smoked Bacon, Chinese ham, and Chorizo in the early 2000s. Recent additions
include classic Filipino favorites such asTocino and Beef Tapa.
To maintain freshness, VFC continues to source its meat and fish only from the province of
Negros. This makes Victorias products truly and proudly Negros-made, and a
premium pasalubong of choice for Filipinos here and abroad.
Currently, 75% of the Victorias goods are exported to the U.S. The rest is made available in
selected areas in Negros. With this foothold, the company is now focused on increasing its
production capacity, with the goal of introducing world-class Filipino food to a larger geographic
market.
Victorias Milling Company, Inc. (VMC) is an agro-industrial complex located in Victorias
City, Negros Occidental. It was founded on May 7, 1919, on a 600-hectare ground having a sugar
mill with an original capacity of 1,500 tons. To date, it has evolved into one of the largest integrated
raw and refined sugar operations in the world. VMC is one of the biggest suppliers of refined sugar
in the Philippines and supplies about 30% of the county’s daily need for refined sugar.
At present, VMC produces its own power using four (4) biomass steam turbine power
generating units, with a total capacity of 34MW. Likewise, it has eight (8) units of boilers that supply
steam to these four turbine generators. As of September 24, 2014, VMC entered into a Biomass
Renewable Energy Operating Contract with the Department of Energy, wherein 31MW will be
utilized by VMC and 3MW will be exported to the grid.
VICTORIAS GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB
The 63-hectare Victorias Golf and Country Club is the largest golf course in Negros. Considered to
be one of the most challenging in the country, it features an 18-hole executive golf course with
irrigated greens designed to enhance the natural beauty of its slopes and fairways.
With the rustic ambiance of countryside and planned amenities, it is being developed to become a
self-contained and environment-friendly community and truly a nature’s sanctuary for the entire
family.
18-Hole Executive Golf Course
Although relatively flat, the presence of strategic water hazards coupled with gusts of wind
places a premium on accuracy and precision when playing the Front Nine. The greens are vast with
the fairways majestically lined with decades old acacia, narra and camachile trees.
The Back Nine is a perfect mix of man-made and natural hazards. Deep gullies, wide bunkers
and water hazards await players, requiring precision golf from the first drive to the last putt. The
famous “Floating Island Green” of the VGCC can be found by the 15th hole, where the green is
located right in the middle of a big lake. 15 of the 18 holes are beset with water hazards, truly owning
up to its reputation as a challenging golf course.
