Sub: Proposal for Workshop on "Modern Surveying Techniques" for civil Engineering
students.

Sachita Pratishthan’s Civil Engineering Practical expert course is proposing following

workshop for various colleges. The session will run for 6 hours in a day for 1 day, 2 days, 3
days or a week as per the institute requirements. The faculties for the same will travel
from Baramati and stay for those days in or near college premise.

The workshop is being proposed, as listed below:

Time period: workshop will run for 1 day, 2 days, 3 days or a week as per the college
requirements.
Pre-requisites: Note book, Pen, Pencil, Eraser, Calculator.

Minimum batch size: We request you to arrange for minimum 60 and maximum multiple
in 60 students for us to make it cost feasible.

(1) Field Survey Practical Workshop content for Second year Civil Engineering:

 2. Campus layout(Traversing up to 2 acres)/Building layout by using Total
station-
• Detail survey i.e., data collection
• Control Survey (Traverse).
• Height measurement (Remove elevation measurement- REM)
• Fixing of missing pillars (or) Setting out (or) Stake out.
• Resection.
• Area calculations, etc
• Remote distance measurement (RDM) or Missing line measurement (MLM)
etc.
College Campus survey would be done and layout would be prepared by using
total station.

Amount=Rs. 580/participant

• Temporary adjustment for total station
• Leveling and centering
• Focusing adjustment
• Total station operations
• Commends for linear measurement
• command we use for horizontal station etc.
Contour survey of undulated ground would be done by using total station.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

1. Workshop will be conducted in college premises

2. Trainer will be expert of industry of relative field.
3. The DGPS and Drone Survey practical's will be conducted on the same day.
4. College will ensure stay and food of trainer.
5. 50% advance before starting of session and 50% on last day of workshop.
6. The workshop duration will be of 1 day, 2 days, 3 days or a week as per the college

 requirements – Time from 10 am to 4.00 pm daily.
7. Certificated will be issued to participated students and concern civil engineering
department.
8. Work order should raised in favour of Sachita Pratishthan’s Civil Engineering
Practical Expert course, Baramati.
9. Payment can be made by Cheque/Cash in name of Mr. Sachin Narayan Kulthe.
10. Payment can be made by Cheque in name of Sachita Pratishthan (Excluding GST).
11. College should confirm in advance with Work order of training.
