Preparing a research report is a part of our study through which the

students get the practical knowledge about the different aspects of doing
a survey. This report is the extract of the survey conducted and research
done.
While making this project, we the students obtained an
opportunity to learn how to work effectively in a group. It taught us
what is actually meant by µPositive Group Dynamics¶. In the process of
preparing this project report we come across various managerial
functions like designation of authority, delegation of responsibility,
distribution of work, etc.
This report throws light on the how much people are interested in
watching TV and which type of serials they like the most. From this
report we come to know the mentality of the people.

The instrument used for data collection is a questionnaire in
structured and undisguised form. A copy of questionnaire is attached in
Annexure.

utructured Questionnaire means the format of the questionnaire is
fixed and every question is eighter an open ended or a closed ended
question.
ב Undisguised Questionnaire :
This means that the purpose of study by using this Questionnaire is
not secretive. The purpose is study and research work for student¶s
experience.

The sampling method used in this study is convenience sampling.

?very study has some limitations. The limitations of this study are:
1] The sample of 200 is insufficient as compare to the population who
watch the TV, so it does not give appropriate results.
2] No advanced statistical method are used such as correlation,
regression, hypothesis, etc.
3] uome poor response from the respondents was given as time
constraint, lack of interest, etc.

From the above graph, we can say that all peoples are interested in
watching TV. The type of serials and timings are defferant but all of
them like to watch TV.

Above graph shows that 45 % of total population are interested in

watching Reality shows, 30% people are like to watch Daily shows and
25% people are like to watch both type of pregramme. From this data we
can conclude that Reality shows are more popular than Daily shows.

Above chart shows the time which people spend on watching TV

per day. 5% people watch TV for 1 hour. 20% people watch TV for 2
hours, 45% of people watch TV for 3 hours, 35% people have time to
watch TV for 4 hours and remainging 5% people watch TV for more
than 5 hours.
Most of the people watch TV for 3 to 4 hours a day, which is very
long time. It is not good to loose so many productive hours for a country
like India.

This chart shows that how many members of a family are used to
watch the TV. There is a no such family in which only one member is
watching TV. There are 25% of family in which, 2 family members are
used to watch TV. In 45% of family 3 members are watching TV. 4
members are watching TV in 20% of the family. And 10 % families are
such in which 5 members are used to watch TV.
From that we can say that most of all the family members are
watching TV in a particular family.

2] Knowledgeable serials should be more which helps the people in their
lives.

Indian serials and television is play very important role in the India
because almost all the people are interested in watching the TV. TV is
become an important part of people¶s lives. We do not found a single
house without TV now-a-days. TV is become the medium of
entertainment and refreshment.
There are many types of serials and channels are available. uome
of its are good and knowledgeable like Discovery, national geography
were as some serials are negatively affect to the mind of the viewers.
Most of the TV lovers like to watch the social and family drama type of
serials. uometimes viewers are starting to follow their favorite character
of the serials, which is not good for them and their family members.
Most of the people spend 2 to 3 hours daily in watching TV serials,
which is not good for the country like India, which is a developing
country with huge population and people are losing their time in
watching TV. Because of that India loosing the cores of productive
hours daily which affect the Indian economy adversely.
