Richard Branson is a great example of an effective and positive leader.

Branson
expressed his desire to become an entrepreneur at a very young age. Branson once said,
"There is no point in starting your own business unless you do it out of a sense of
frustration." He started to build the Virgin Group wherein it is named after the
suggestion of his employee. He always value those people behind his success. Looking
and praising out the best on his people was one of his technique and an advantage that
keeps him and his ventures in the public eye. He believed that personal care and touches
to his people is one of the characterictics a good leader. As I read different articles
about him, I could say that every businessman suffers and is involved in their own
failure in the business venture. However, Branson holds an unusually optimistic view
of failure. He has written; "I suppose the secret to bouncing back is not only to be
unafraid of failures but to use them as motivational and learning tools. ... There's
nothing wrong with making mistakes as long as you don't make the same ones over and
over again." Most businessmen thinks that when they failed, it may be the end of their
journey but for Brandon, it is just a stepping stone for him to start from the beginning.
Experiencing failure in life and looking on it's positive side was one of his secret to
continue business. As long a person learned from his or her mistake, and never let it
happen again.

Brandon shows different moral strategies in business. First is to be a good listener to

your people, specially those who are in the front line. Second is to train and treat your
people well enough so that they won't leave. And lastly having fun and passion is one of
the most important and underrated ingredients towards the success of a venture. If
you're not having fun, then it's probably time to call it quits and try something else.
Basically, the more active and practically engaged you are within your work and
business, the more successful you will be.
