“ HOME VISITATION “

I. Rationale
Absenteeism in school is the habit of staying away
from school without providing a genuine or any reason for not attending
classes. Absenteeism is a truant behavior that negatively affects the
performance among students. Generally, absenteeism is unplanned
absences. Absenteeism has been viewed as an indicator of poor individual
performance. The purpose of this project is to lessen the number of
absences of the pupils.

II. Introduction
Learning may not take place if the pupils their self is not
present. Many of these cases such as the absences are being manage by
the following teachers in different grade levels. Teachers of different
grade levels conducted home visitation at Golden Horizon, Hugo Perez,
TMC as some of their pupils are having multiple absences in a week. In the
picture shows the involvement of the parent in managing the problem and
so thus the agreement discussed properly to avoid such instances.
Chronic absenteeism not only affects student achievement, it can affect a
student's attitude and behavior at school. When a student has attendance
issues, achievement issues and behavior issues it increases their risk of
dropping out of school. Teachers conducted home visitation at Golden
Horizon, Hugo Perez, TMC as one of her pupil is having multiple absences
in a week. To avoid this kind of issue, the teacher monitors attendance
daily, tracks progress toward attendance goals, and communicates with
parents and students about issues as they arise. Parents should be
notified of an absence as early in the day as possible.  In the picture
shows the involvement of the parent in managing the problem and so thus
the agreement form discussed properly to avoid such instances.
III. Home Visitation Goals

3. Provides appropriate intervention with regard to the problem of

each individual specifically the pupils
