ARTIFACT/EVIDENCE HOW THE ARTIFACT/EVIDENCE SATISFIES THE COMPONENT

Grammar Assessment I create the unit grammar assessments for our grade level to
Sample supplement the Wonders Unit Assessment.
Rubric for Black History I regularly create the assessment rubrics for our grade level
Month Project for projects and arts integration activities.
Social Studies Assessment I created a social studies assessment that incorporated
concepts from our Wonders unit, as well as geography that
we had been teaching in class.

The assessments and rubrics that I regularly create are aligned with the curriculum
assessments, but more specific to our students’ learning and needs. I feel I have been
extremely successful developing rubrics that are fun and engaging for students, yet
clearly outline our grade level objectives and expectations. The assessments and rubrics
also measure students effectively to clearly reflect student understanding of concepts, as
well as areas of misunderstanding.
