In the classroom, expectations for assignments have been modeled throughout the year to
ensure that students are aware of what is being asked of them. Work samples, as well as
whole group completion of assignments have been provided to help students learn what is
expected so that they may be successful on their own. New concepts are introduced and
practiced together to develop a foundation for what is expected, and students may then
complete assignments independently with reference to the examples.
