1. Sandblasting of valve body assembly to remove surface corrosion, expose fresh
metal surface. 2. Visual inspection of body surface to detect any deformities, cracks to rectify with weld filling with equivalent filler metal grinding. 3. Unfastening of gearbox fasteners, to separate from valve body assembly 4. Removal of all pins holding valve stem shaft with disc, followed by dismantling of stem, disc, seat ring, bottom plates, packing, gaskets, O-rings etc. 5. Cleaning of components and lubrication of all moving parts of gearbox (gear, worm wheel, keys) and valve (stem, disc etc.) 6. Replacement of spares, fasteners, soft parts, gaskets, orings, gland packing etc. to precise dimensions. 7. Moulding of seat rings in material equivalent to that obtained from valve. 8. Machining of shaft sleeves, nickel coating to enhance wear resistance, corrosion resistance and life of valve. 9. Reassembly of valve, mounting of gearbox 10. Functional testing of valve, visual inspection for any interference in smooth motion 11. Surface preparation, degreasing, cleaning to make surface free from impurities prior to epoxy red-oxide primer coating. 12. Hydrotesting of valve at pressures according to pressure ratings in compliance with API 598 standard. 13. Internal and external coating of valve with Ceramic coat to provide pollution resistance, corrosion resistance and wear resistance.
