What is Biopre Infiltration Hole ?
Lubang Biopori or Biopore Infiltration Hole is :
Cylindrical holes made vertically
into soil with a diameter of 10cm
and a depth of about 100cm.
Biopores are holes (pores) in the soil that are formed due to
the activity of organisms.

Biopori is formed
due to the activity
Composting process
of soil organisms
What are the
benefits (LRB) of
Biopore Infiltration
Holes ?
There are many benefits of making
Biopori Infiltration Holes:

1. Save water
2. Processing organic waste
3. Fertilize the land Organic Trash

4. Reducing standing water

Where can I make Biopori Infiltration Holes?
What are the tools for making Biopori?
How To Make It ?????

• 4. Lubricate the ground with a

biopore drill by pressing and rotating
towards the right
• 5. To facilitate drilling, pour water into
the hole
• 6. Every time about 15 cm or as deep
as the drill bit, pull the drill bit while
still rotating to the right then clean the
soil in the drill a bit
How To Make It ?????

• 1. Choose the right location to make LBR, which is the area

of rainwater that flows and not on potentially sloping land
• 2. Soil around the place to be perforated with water so that
it is easy to punch
• 3. Place the drill bit perpendicular to the ground before
starting the hole making

• 7. Clean the soil in the drill bit starting

from the inside with a knife or other
puncture tool
• 8. If the soil is rocky and gravel until
the drilling is blocked, then drilling can
be stopped as far as the depth that can
be found even if only a depth of 50
cm

• 9. Fill in the holes with organic waste

(leaves and leftover food from the plate)
How To Make It ?????

• 1. Within 3 months, generally

ORGANIC WASTE has
been formed into COMPOS.
ready to be lifted and
harvested. Lift compost in
the same way as when drilling
• 2. After harvesting the
compost, refill the hole with
organic waste

Examples of organic waste that can be
inserted into a biopore hole:
1. Leaves
2. The remaining fruit or which has been
damaged
3. The remaining vegetables or those
that have been damaged
4. Remaining eating rice
