We propose to furnish and erect the installation outlined in the foregoing proposal.
Supply and Installation of 1 No 4 Persons lift (5 Stops), for per lift: Rs. 7,70,000/-
(Rupees Seven Lakhs Seventy Thousand Only) Including GST, Excluding License.
Extra Optional : For MRL Rs,1.35000/- [Rupees in One Lakh Thirty Five Thousand Only]

40% Together with acceptance of order as interest free advance.

30% Against supply of 1st Stage Materials.

20% Against supply of Balanced Full Materials.

On completion of Installation and acceptance or in any case with in six


10% months of delivery of materials, if the installation is delayed due to reasons
beyond our control.viz., absence of power supply, delay in civil works etc.,

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Delivery of Materials:

We would be in a position to manufacture the components required for this lift in about THREE months Ex-
works, after receipt of your full and final instructions and approval of the General Arrangement Drawing (GAD)
which will be furnished by us within 3 weeks on receipt of your order together with advance and the details
required to prepare the General Arrangements Drawing such as lift well dimensions, floor heights, machine room
details etc.

2. Installation:

In our quotation we have included charges for installation of elevator components and all skilled and unskilled
Labour necessary to complete the erection, wiring and testing of the lift. The erection period shall be reckoned
from the date on which the lift well is handed over to us after all civil portion of the work as per our GAD has
been completed. The time required by us to completed the erection work in EIGHT weeks.

If the handing over of the site as specified in clause above is delayed from your side, then the supply and
installation will be deferred so as to synchronize with the site Completion. In view of this, you will have to grant
us the necessary extension in the completion period without imposition of any conditions.

We cannot accept any responsibility for delayed execution of the lift in the following cases:
a) If the terms of payment are not complied with.
b) If the preparatory building works excluded from our contract and necessary structure support frame etc. are
not completed by the client in time.
c) If permanent three-phase power supply along with double earthing etc., is not given in time in the machine
room.
d) If formalities are delayed due to non-payment of license fees or if necessary technical details are missing.
e) The above delivery & erection periods are given in good faith based on present day working conditions and
are subject to extension to cover delays due to Force Majeure conditions. You shall not be entitles to claim
damages for any loss directly or indirectly due to delay in delivery.

3. Handing Over:

The elevator shall be erected and commissioned as per the mutually agrees specification. After commissioning the
elevator shall be offered for Acceptance of the Customer. The customer shall inspect and accept the elevator and
sign the “Acceptance Letter”. The elevator shall be finally handed over to the customer only after receiving final
due payment.

4. Cancellation of Contract:

If you cancel the contract and / or commit a breach a contract and / or contract remains dormant for 36 weeks
from signing the contract, we shall be entitled to claim damages and / or compensation, including the costs of the
materials and loss of profits / administrative expenses actual or at the rate of 10% of the value of the contract,
whichever is higher.

5. Guarantee:

The equipments offered are covered by usual guarantee for one year from the date of Acceptance of elevator in
good working condition or 18 months from the date of dispatch of materials whichever is earlier and our liability
under this guarantee include repair or replacement of all defective parts if any, which may prove faulty during the
period including such parts as may be rendered in-operative by wear-and-tear but exclude such parts as may be
rendered in-operative by vandalism.

6. Free Service:

Free services once a month for the first twelve months will be carried out after the elevator has been completed
and offered for inspection and Accepted by the Customer. The date commencement of free service will remain
unchanged irrespective of any delay in building completion, availability of permanent power supply, inspection,
taking over or commencing the use of the elevator.

7. General Arrangement Drawing:

The general arrangement drawing will be sent to you in duplicate in approximately 3 weeks from the date of
receipt of complete site details along with order. The purpose of this drawing is to clearly indicate to you pertinent
dimensional details of the Elevator Shaft, Pit, Machine, Room Car and landing openings, etc., In case you require
any modification in our GAD, it is available to hold on construction till the revised GAD is resubmitted by us and
approved by you. Please note that the above set of drawings will give you complete information for the Civil
Constructions.

8. Surplus Materials:

All surplus materials, consumable goods, packing cases, wiring materials, tools and tackles etc., employed during
execution of contract are our property and will be removed by us and taken into our custody.

PREPARATORY WORK IN CUSTOMERS SCOPE

1. General:

1. To furnish information with a week from the date of order, for us to prepare the GAD. The required information
will essentialities consist of the following:
A. Clear elevator well dimensions with construction details.
B. Details of Interference, if any,
C. Elevation of the elevator shaft showing clear heights.
D. Size and location of elevator column in the elevator well, if any,
E. Depth of elevator Pit.
F. Clear height of the machine room.
G. Plan view of the machine room.
If any wish to obtain the site details after a field check, we will be happy to do at an extra cost.
2. Promptly approve our GAD make sure that the well and building will take the loads indicated in our drawing,
Commencement of manufacturing is possible only after receipt of approval of the same. Please
Note that our delivery commitments are reckoned from the date of receipt of approved GAD.
3. Any type of wiring (Including concealed wiring) whatsoever in the elevator shaft walls are strictly prohibited.
4. In case of existing elevator wells, prior intimation should be given to us with regard to concealed wiring in the
elevator shaft walls and the concealed wiring path should be marked in red before commencement of Installation
.Our erection crew will not take over the elevator well unless this is strictly adhered to.
5. Guarding of lift well openings.
6. Providing Storage accommodation of approximately 50 sq. mm. per elevator for materials, tools and clothing,
suitably locked, dry, ventilated and illuminated and protected from theft and damage near the hoist way at ground
floor level. This should be available before arrival of materials.
7. Providing acceptable living accommodation (complete with light, running water &sanitary facilities) for our
erection crew at or near to site.
8. Provision of safe access to machine room or elevator well to our requirements.

2. Civil work:

1. Builders work such as forming elevator well, pit and m/c room which shall be dry and from dust with
Necessary access according to local (Regulations and all minor builders work, as cutting pockets, grouting guide
brackets, grouting rag bolts, grouting landing push boxes, providing bed blocks and buffer blocks etc.
2. Machine room floor including any reinforcement necessary for load bearing.
3. Any necessary tanking lining or reinforcement of the pit.
4. Providing and installing necessary hoist way door frames, architraves, brick fascias / steel fascia plates, unless
otherwise provided here in.
5. Scaffolding, planks and Ladder to our requirements.

3. Electrical works:

1. Working lights and temporary and permanent electricity supplies.


2. Wiring of main and earth wires (No.8 -2 Nos.) from the source of supply to the machine room terminating in 1No.
63 Amps 415V -3Phase – 4pole ELCB 1 No, 4pole MCB for elevator motor and 2Nos – 6 Amps, 230V –Single
phase MCB for fan and light. Also 1No. 6Amps 3pin power plug with switch for use of power tools to erectors
requirement.
3. Suitable lighting of the shaft way and machine room & Cost of electricity for erection and testing.
