MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT

(ON B.S CRIMINOLOGY INTERNSHIP PROGRAM)

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:


This memorandum of Agreement is made and entered into the City of Tabuk,
Kalinga, Philippines by and between.

LAND TRANSPORTATION OFFICE a division of Kalinga with office address at Purok


6, Bulanao Tabuk City, Kalinga, represented by its Head of Office/Approving Officer
MRS. JENNILYN C. ANGOG, herein referred to as LTO; and

St. LOUIS COLLEGE OF BULANAO INC. a registered educational corporation with


business address at Bulanao, Tabuk City, Kalinga duly recognized and authorized
higher educational institution by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED),
represented by its president , +Bp PRUDENCIO P. ANDAYA, JR., CICM DD, herein
after referred to as SLCB-AVT.

WHEREAS, LTO agrees to and allows the on-the-job training of SLCB Criminology
interns to do road and motor vehicles inspection.

WHEREAS, SLCB INC. has instituted community immersion program which the fourth
year criminology students were enrolled, must undergo on-the-job training at the Land
Transportation Office to equip them with adequate working knowledge in the
transportation services that includes; emergency and rescue services, road inspection,
motor vehicle inspection and RA 4136 and other related laws which will prepare them to
become competent, creative, community-supportive Christian traffic law enforcers.

NOW, therefore, in consideration of the foregoing premises, LTO and SLCB INC. here
agree on and stipulate the following terms and conditions:

A. LTO shall:

a. endeavour to assign criminology interns in area related to their field of


specialization whenever possible;

b. provide the SLCB INC. through the OJT Coordinator feedbacks on the
student-trainees performance;

c. adopt measures to provide security and protection of the student-trainees


during their training period;

d. only accommodate student-trainees within its absorptive capacity; and

e. accomplish the Performance evaluation form of police interns which shall


contain their grades and comments/recommendations concerning their
performance conduct and discipline.
B. SLCB INC. shall:

a. supervise interns and regularly monitor their attendance and performance


during the practicum period through its Internship coordinator;

b. require criminology interns to wear their prescribed uniforms and identification


card at all times during their tour of duty;

c. provide criminology internship manual and evaluation kit to employee-trainees;

d. not hold the LTO responsible for any untoward incident that occurs beyond its
control within its premises during the training period ;

e. request the LTO to allow OJT students to render their duties within office
hours Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays as indicated on every deployment letter
giver to the LTO prior to the deployment on the Criminology interns.

C. DURATION

This agreement shall hold for the duration of the AY 2017-2018 of SLCB-AVT
and is automatically renewable every year, provided that LTO and SLCB INC. reserve
their respective rights to withdraw their participation in the agreement upon written
notice.

IN WITNESS WHEROF, the LTO and SLCB INC. through their representatives
here to sign this AGREEMENT this _____Day of __________________, 2020 at
Bulanao, Tabuk City, Kalinga.

their on-the-job training in your respective office to apply into practice the theories that
they have learned. This aims to foster leadership, integrity, accountability, and
responsibility while serving their fellowmen and the community. To instil among the
students the core values of individual and professional growth and to enlighten them on
the objectives of Land Transportation Office and on the provision of RA 4136 and other
related laws. We believe that your office will provide them the opportunity to attain these
objectives.
