Nowadays, people have been using technology in their everyday lives. Gadgets
are faster than any way to help us in our daily activities. We use them for
communication, learning, etc. Some examples are cell phone and telephone. These two
are some of the main gadgets that are used by people.

Firstly, a cell phone and a telephone does the same function, which means of
communication from one end to another. In contrast, they both are very useful when it
comes in situations like communicating. Cell phone and telephone are more likely alike
to one another because both of them can be used in calling. They are a bit of similar
because of one thing and that is only communication. People use them for this
characteristic.

However, both of them are not the same. Telephones are only for calling while
cell phones can be used more than just one purpose. Cell phones can be connected in
the internet and can help you search the things you want to know. On the other hand,
telephones are only for calls, or somewhat for emergency. A cell phone can easily
connect to the internet which we all can use for our education, fun, etc.

The fundamental difference between the two is that landlines are fixed and cell
phones are mobile. Customers can only use landline phones in a single location where
there is a wired connection to the telephone network. Whereas a cell phone can be
used anywhere you want. It can be used in anywhere and every time.

Cell phones are significantly smaller than PCs, and are able to fit in the palm of
one’s hand. Cell phones are also designed for mobility. Since they have internal
batteries which may be charged from any wall outlet, they can be used practically
anywhere. Cell phones can be portable. Cell phones can easily be brought in our
hands, and its not heavy for us people to carry.
 A cell phone and a telephone are both durable in any times. They both are strong
and they cannot be easily broken. Both of them are always brought by people because
of their durability. But, a cell phone is more durable than a telephone because of the
difference of their covering. As you can see, telephones are somewhat made out of
plastic while cell phone is made out of metallic and glass objects. So on my own
opinion, a cell phone is much more durable than a telephone.

Telephones can only be used for communicating. Thus, cell phones are not only
for communication but also for research, fun, etc. Cell phones can save memories of
you, your family and friends all together. It can save pictures, videos and many more.
You’ll be happy if you see them including you all together in a picture. You can also
save music so that you can be relaxed.

In my own opinion, it is better to have a cell phone than a telephone because of

their differences. Cell phone has much more access to the internet, communication, it
can be portable and its durability. And also, cell phone can help me in my everyday
problems. It can also help me in my researches and some events. So that is why I think
it is better to have a cell phone than a telephone.
