The 3000 and 4000 Product Families transmission controls command an immediate shift to 4th range once the PTO engages and Drive
is selected. One-to-one direct drive for split-shaft PTOs.
The 1000 and 2000 Product Families transmission controls command 3rd range once the PTO engages and Drive is selected. 3rd lockup is
obtained when the turbine rpm reaches 1100 rpm. 3rd Lockup Pump Mode ratio is 1:4 to 1.

The driver of a fire truck selects Neutral, applies the park brake, then turns on the Pump Mode Dash Switch. The Pump Mode Requested
Light comes on. When the split-shaft PTO engages, the Pump Engaged Light comes on. The operator selects Drive, and the transmission
controls command a shift to 4th range lockup. The OK To Pump Light illuminates. The feature is de-activated when Neutral is selected
while output shaft speed is below 1000 rpm. A Momentary Transmission Brake Switch incorporated into the feature can be pressed to
stop output shaft rotation when transitioning back to Road Mode.
With the 1000 and 2000 Product Families, the lockup clutch releases at 1000 turbine rpm when returning to idle and transitioning back to
Road Mode.
