Translation Results

The Babylon Click retrieves results both online and offline.

When you are online (connected to the Internet):
Babylon Click on any word, phrase or term to get instant translation as well as dictionary and
encyclopedia results. The results will appear in the Babylon results window.
At the bottom of the last results displayed, a "More Results" link enables you to view
additional results that were retrieved from Babylon's wide range of authoritative online
sources. The "More Results" link appears only in cases where additional results are available.

Web Page Translation

When you open a Web page in a foreign language, Babylon 8 will automatically detect the
language and offer you to translate the entire Web page to the language of your choice. This
service can also be accessible from the Babylon 8 Activation Pane at the bottom of the
Babylon window and using the Babylon Globe.

Text and Document Translations

To translate texts you can copy and paste the selected paragraph into Babylon text translation
window. Babylon 8 enables you to browse a document and load its content into the Babylon
text translation window. Once the text is placed in the original text area you may initiate the
text translation service.

By default Babylon will automatically detect original text language (source language can be
manually changed). Select the target 'to' language, click on the 'Translate' button and Babylon
automatically translates the text for you.

The translated result will appear directly under the text box, allowing you to easily compare
the two texts. Babylon translates approximately 300 words (512 characters) on each
translation request leaving the un-translated text colored in gray (in the original text area).

In addition, you can also directly access the text translation service from the Babylon Globe
or the Babylon menu in the Windows tray.
Target Languages

Languages in the top section of the list become active languages in your target languages
management. You can easily add remove and change the order of the list from the
configuration -> Languages & Dictionaries tab.
The order of the languages in the list corresponds to the order in which results appear.

suggested completions to the word you are typing,. This feature requires installed dictionaries.

Boxes. Before you send your comment, or submit a new Blog entry, click on the Babylon
Globe’s Speller service and Babylon will check your spelling. Typos will be marked bold,
underlined and red. Right clicking on them will reveal Babylon's corrections.
