TASK
Adhesion test with Sika® products on the submitted samples.
SUMMARY
1. Adhesion test
Test results show that the adhesive system below can achieve good bonding effect:
Sample: Misty lvory Lime stone
IPA + Sikaflex®-11FC Grey
IPA + Sika® Primer-210 + Sikaflex®-11FC Grey
REMARKS
The results only apply to the tested quality.
Constant/reproducible surface quality is required.
Any changes can result in adhesion loss.
Direct contact between Sikasil® and SikaHyflex® products with sulfur curing gaskets is not approved.
Surface pre-treatment always includes surface cleaning as first step (cf. para. "Method of Application" in the
relevant Product Data Sheet) and application of adhesion promoter as second step.
Compatibility test methods are based upon valid standards, RAL as well as other guidelines.
Compatibility test results between non-Sika materials and Sika sealants and adhesives are generally batch-related,
since Sika has no control over the manufacturing process of third-party products.
Nevertheless, the results may be transferred to other batches as long as it can be ensured that the formulations,
the raw materials, the production process or other important parameters which may influence the compatibility
are not altered.
