ABSTRACT

This study aimed to assess the evaluation of NGO Initiated School

Feeding Program at Socorro Central Elementary School. Particularly, it used the

IPO model to gathered data. The study used descriptive-evaluative method

design with 23 selected teachers, 2 administrators and 232 students of Socorro

Central Elementary School as participants.

Results of the study revealed there is no significant difference I the

evaluation of school feeding program along three participants.

In the light of the findings and conclusions of this study, the following

recommendations are given: The governments should be encouraged to support the

financing of the program to have many beneficiaries. That the school administration

together with the school feeding program developers are sensitized on the need to

provide balanced school feeding program. That the communities should be sensitize

on the significance of the school feeding program among the students of Socorro

Central Elementary School, and that there is need for them to ensure they support

the program by availing different types of nutritious food to the students. The

researchers suggest future researchers to conduct study that will investigate impact

of school feeding program towards the uncontrolled and controlled group of students.
