Louie and Ferdie both share the same birthday, AUGUST 29.

Both share the same passion for music.

Both share the same love and appreciation of the Bicol Language.

“LOVE SONGS BIKOLNON” is the culmination of the friendship that started during the First Bicol Music
Festival in which Louie was the ORGANIZER and Ferdinand was the WINNER.

From that time on, Louie and Ferdie would collaborate on many musical projects:

From the darkest days of Martial Law when Ferdie composed the music to Louie’s inspiring lyrics,
“DUMATING NA ANG AGILA”

- To the recent Louie’s lyrics “KAKAMPI KO ANG BAWAT PILIPINO,” which Ferdie turned into a
Triumphant March.

After 25 years, it was inevitable that Louie and Ferdie would collaborate in one musical album to honor
the land and the language they both love so dearly: BICOL.

This album is not just a celebration of their Music and Lyrics

It is also a celebration of their enduring Friendship.
