Marketing Support: S3 will provide necessary marketing support in the form of On-site
Promotors and Collaterals.
The rapid growth in the bike market in India (6 million bikes are added every year), the shifting
trend amongst bikers to go for power and performance instead of mileage coupled with the
increasing tendency of consumers seeking out trusted professionals to provide maintenance for
their bikes are the factors that make for compelling drivers of growth for a customer - friendly
initiative like S3 Bike Zone.
Who can be a franchisee?
Some of the minimum requirements that a S3 BikeZone Franchisee must have are:
A high level of interest and commitment to the business in terms of time and attention.
A strong entrepreneurial spirit and zeal to succeed.
Adequate Financial Resources.
Ability to manage people.

delivery processes.
How does S3 support the Franchisees?
BikeZone vehicle servicing franchise assists franchisees in the following areas of the
project:
Preparation of the site financial module
Assisting in site selection
Site designing both exterior and interior design by an architect
Project co-ordination
Prelaunch manpower selection and training
Initial and ongoing support and training on BikeZone Support Software
Definition and development of your catchment area coverage plan
S3 will invest in all the Equipments and the Corporate Branding elements that is required
for the site

basis
Catchment area activation and marketing
Operational support and service standards through the franchisee manual
Continuous Employee Training
Supply of Spare parts and Lubricants through dedicated distributors
Formats
There are 2 formats...
Professional Format:
Requires a site of 2500-3000 sq.ft (own or rental)
This format will have 10 - 12 ramps.
Will have a Club House, A washing area, a CRM Room, a Technician
Room
Approximate staff to be employeed by Franchisee is 20 – 25
Project Cost ~ Rs 25 lakhs
Standard Format:
Requires a site of 1800-2200 sq.ft (own or rental)
This format will have 7 - 9 ramps.
Will have a Club House, A washing area, a CRM Room, a Technician
Room
Approximate staff to be employeed by Franchisee is 15 – 20
Project Costs ~ Rs 20 lakhs
Project Costs
The Project cost includes investment in Civil interiors and exteriors, Civil Modification, Air
Conditioning, Electricals, Computer Hardware, Site Rental Deposit ( if the premise is taken on
rent), Working Capital (like spares) etc. It is strongly recommended that franchisee provides
enough funds to manage the business buildup time until the BikeZone reaches a stage of cash
breakeven.
Revenues
Each BikeZone servicing franchise is expected to have a turnover between Rs 25 - Rs 30 lacs
(depending on location, format type & Franchisee involvement in the business) in the first year
through service opportunities, sale of merchandise and Insurance.
Marketing
S3 will provide necessary marketing support in the form of On-site Promotors and Collaterals.
The Franchisees are expected to utilise this support in their catchment area to derive maximum
benefit. S3 has tied up with insurance companies to provide accidental repairs and selling of
insurance through its BikeZones.
There are proven Marketing Activation programs in the catchment Area for generating footfalls
leading to service (2) Referrals and Retention of Customers. S3 would initiate such programs and
the Franchisees are expected to utilise such programs to their benefits.
Franchisees are also expected to utilise their contacts to generate Customer traffic and revenues
Spares:
One of the major business levers in Vehicle Service industry is SPARES. S3 Bike Zone franchise
has tied up with various OE Manufacturers suppliers for Spares supplies and has implemented
dedicated distribution system for its franchisees.
Expenses
The salaries & rent are the main components of fixed cost, while material/consumable cost,
Royalty, electricity, water etc are the variable costs involved
