A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ANNUAL BARANGAY YOUTH INVESTMENT PLAN CY 2019 OF

BARANGAY ___________, MARIBOJOC, BOHOL

WHEREAS, it is a declared policy that the state shall recognize the vital role of the youth in nation
building and promote, protect their physical, spiritual, intellectual and social well-being, inculcate in
them patriotism, nationalism and other desirable values and encourages their active involvement in
public and civic affairs;

WHEREAS, Section 20 of RA No. 10742 provides that all income of the barangay, ten percent (10%) will
be appropriated for the Sangguniang Kabataan in lump-sum and shall be disburse solely for youth
development and empowerment purposes;

WHEREAS, the Joint Memorandum circular NO. 1, s. 2019 mandates the preparation of the ABYIP, a slice
of the 3 year Comprehensive Barangay Youth Development Plan which is the basis in the preparation of
the Annual SK Budget.

WHEREAS, section (b) of the same law provides that the SK shall have financial independence in the
operation, disbursements and encashment of their fund, income and expenditures;

WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Kabataan come up with the ABYIP in a workshop conducted last September
21, 2019.

WHEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, in mass motion by the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay __________,

Maribojoc, Bohol in session assembled, to approve the Annual Barangay Youth Investment Plan for the
calendar year 2019;

RESOLVED FURTHER, that the Proposed Plan in its prescribed form shall be an integral part of this
resolution.

UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED this ____ day of October, 2019 upon mass motion of the members present.
