INTRODUCTION

Deja Brew is a beverage establishment founded in the year 2019 and is a sole proprietorship
business owned by 7 (seven) young entrepreneurs. They are located inside the SEC Mall, Xavier
University – Ateneo de Cagayan, 73 Corrales Ave, Cagayan de Oro City, Misamis Oriental 9000. Deja
Brew focuses more on creating an Iced Coffee; a cold brew coffee mixed with milk that aims to provide
the potential consumers a drink that can refresh them despite the hot weather, at the same time, can
awaken their sleepy body. Deja Brew envisions to become a daily necessity for staff and students inside
the university who are looking for a budget-friendly drink.

VISION

The Deja Brew envisions to become a daily beverage for staff, employees, and students inside the
university who are looking for a budget-friendly beverage.

MISSION STATEMENT

The Deja Brew’s mission is to serve the XU students, employees, and staff so as to foster a greater
impact on the importance of feasibility study among Business Administration students. Deja Brew gears to
work with the environmental issue by using non-plastic materials and to lessen the burden of producing
plastic products in businesses.

COMPANY POLICY

To maintain the sustainability, credibility and responsive of the task of the company, under the rules and
regulations abide should be followed by the members. Strict implementation of rules is the major
responsibility of each member. Failure to follow and negligence of duty will be summoned immediately
unless there is valid reason partaking within it. As the company’s protocol, each member of the company
will follow a chain of command from the General Manager until the Research and Development Manager

The Deja Brew is located inside the SEC Mall, Xavier University - Ateneo de Cagayan, 73 Corrales
Ave, Cagayan de Oro City, Misamis Oriental 9000.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Deja Brew offers iced coffee drink comprising mainly of freshly brewed coffee and velvety fresh
milk mixed together. To make it quite unique from the usual iced coffee, this drink is topped with
chocolate syrup. . The product is created thoroughly and hygienically using fresh and high-quality
ingredients.

 Price
Deja Brew’s price range is Php 45.00. They have similar price range to some of the competitors
who are also selling similar products, but they assure that it is worth its price since the products
are freshly made using high-quality ingredients while maintaining its consistent taste.

 Promotions
The company considers today’s trend, that a large number of the population is using social media
as a medium of communication. The company decided to make accounts on each of the different
types of social media to reach out and inform a vast of potential student, faculty, and staff
consumers about the product. Aside from that fact that is considered as one of the cheapest
advertisements, promoting social media platforms helps the company to have connections and
interact with its consumers that might lead to earning customer loyalty. Giving the consumers an
incredible experience by securing that the product is freshly made with high-quality ingredients,
consumers will likely have a good experience towards the product. With this, consumers are likely
to advertise it by themselves to their friends. Also the company consider posters as an effective
medium of communication since their operation done every day.

Deja Brew is a sole proprietorship entity under Mr. Rafhael L. Jabongga, General Manager, with
food service at its nature. The business engages in the Food Manufacturing Industry.

 Geographic
Deja Brew offer their product within its location at SEC Mall, Xavier University - Ateneo de
Cagayan, 73 Corrales Ave, Cagayan de Oro City.

 Demographic
Deja Brew’s primary target market is from Senior High School and Undergraduate students of
Xavier University - Ateneo de Cagayan ages 16 years old and above. The secondary target
markets are the faculty and staff of Xavier University ages 25 years old and above.

 Behavioral
Habitual, variety-seeking, and loyal customer buying behavior are the variety of consumers who
wants to buy the product.

 Psychographic
Deja Brew believes that customers loves to try new products, especially if these products are
trending in the market. Once they are satisfied with the product on their first try, they would likely
recommend it to their friends and families, and they may become loyal customers to the product.

COMPETITORS

The competitors of the business may be classified into two – indirect and direct. In terms of its
indirect competitors, these include Jollibee, 7/11, and other food establishments. These competitors are
considered indirect because they offer an alternative product that could satisfy the same customer need,
while the direct competitors include Mcdonald’s, Caffe La Tea, Coffee Republique, and those beverage
shops near the university who are selling refreshment related products. These competitors are considered
direct because they sell products that are similar to our business.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF PARTNERS

 Rafhael Jabongga as the General Manager is tasked to supervise the entirety of the company,
all legal matters as well as the weekly and monthly reports and delegate tasks to the other
members of the company and he is to be held responsible for the work and actions of the
company’s members. Has the responsibility of overseeing and directing the business as a whole,
details to details of what is happening. Delegates the task of each member fairly and ensures
their cooperation for the good of the business. Making sure that all the workers give their best
performance for their business and act accordingly with their role. Open-minded and willing to
listen with its members, has the ability to adapt or accept possible opinions from the members
and their concerns, as well as open to new ideas for the common good.

 Jessa Tiongco as the Finance Manager is tasked with the proper preparation and analysis of the
company’s financial records to ensure that they are precise and accurate in order to guarantee
the stability of the company’s finances. She is responsible in the day-to-day transactions of the
business. She keep record of source documents that can be used in preparing the financial
statements. She should able to foresee any possible financial problems.

 Mikaela Joseph as the Sales Manager is tasked to oversee the weekly or daily sales of the
company. Also, she is assigned to keep all the records of the summary of the sales projection of
the company and will be working together with the other department to ensure that the company
will achieve its sales projection in the entire operation.

 Dyan Dy as the Marketing/Operations Manager is in charge of overseeing the daily operations of


the company and ensures the availability of each inventory needed for operations. She is
responsible for formulating marketing plans and strategies for the company. She is also in charge
of the image of the company to the public eye and able to appeal the company to its target
market. She determine the demand of the products and the services offered by the company and
its competitors and identify potential customers. She develops pricing strategies with the goal of
maximizing the company’s profits or share of the market while ensuring the company’s customers
are satisfied.
 Paul Alolino as the Production Manager is in charge of the production of the product and
ensures the products are produced efficiently. He is also in charge of seeking the best quality and
most efficient supplies for raw materials, planning, coordinating and control of the manufacturing
processes. He ensures that goods are produced efficiently and that the correct amount is at the
right cost and level of quality. Responsible for the maintenance of the equipment; monitoring
product standards and implementing quality-control programs.

 Tisha Bacang as the Purchasing Manager is in charge of purchasing the raw materials,
acquiring, canvassing and approving all the high quality but with the most affordable price of the
materials and equipment needed in the company to be able for the organization to operate. She
must be the one to prepare and process and requisitions and purchase orders for supplies.

 Gyrish Yasay as Research and Development is in charge of all the data gathering, surveys and
conducting evaluation towards the company’s performance. She is also responsible for
maintaining the market trends through field exposure towards the customers in the market as part
of her research and development duty. She keeps records that are useful for the organization to
develop more especially on the Marketing Mix.
