    Sir,

    Greetings!

    I, 3rd Engineer Christian Angelo V. Gayo, current instructor at Western Institute of Technology - Senior
    High School Department. Would like to resign from my current department and transfer to the
    College of Maritime Education effective end of the school year 2019-2020.

    The potential of the maritime strand of the SHS department is great and it may reach even greater
    heights with the combined effort and support from the institution. Our students each have their own
    dreams and individual academic and practical prowess which will fuel them to become one of the best
    in the maritime industry using the right handling and management methods.

    I am passionate with my teaching career and I am confident with my teaching skills, however the
    experience I have gained as a professional marine engineering officer, training instructor, and
    educator seem to be compatible elsewhere. Hence, my request to transfer to the College of Maritime
    Education Department.

    This I have discussed with our Personnel Office Head. And as per his advice, I am writing this letter to
    inform you of my sincere intentions.

    I am hoping for your kind consideration.
