Final artwork
This piece of artwork is a mix of film photography and composition. The printed pictures are

Artistic taken in Chiang Mai, Thailand in various places that show the charms of the city. Chiang Mai is
a special place for me. This is where I was born and I have lived here ever since.

intention The film camera used was retro 3D with the fujifilm superia x-tra 400 film. This piece of artwork
has that vintage retro vibe to it. This vibe shows in the cassette tape drawn, printed pictures
and the film itself. The unorganized composition has the feel of scrapbooking. Where you put
all your memories in. The black background makes the pictures pop out even more.

The boarding pass shows that my first and last destination will always be Chiang Mai. Which is
home. The different elements stuck on the artwork are from drawings and magazines. The
drawings are drawings of vintage objects that build up the vibe. The cut out magazine gives
you the flavor of Chiang Mai. This artwork color scheme is earthy vintage. With the filter from
the film, all the pictures have the same tone. The lines in the picture are smooth and blur out a
bit. It gives that soft feeling.

I have always been interested in film photography. I have done it many times with disposable
film cameras. So I have some experience with it. When I got this opportunity. I thought film
photography would be different and unique.

I chose to take pictures of Chiang Mai because it's my hometown. It’s a place that I have been
living in the past 13 years and counting. I’m grateful that I was born in such a colorful place.
Just spending a day here won’t bring you all the way around town.
This artwork shows various charms of Chiang Mai through film photography.
