1. TWO PLEAD NOT GUILTY TO ROBBERY

SIBU: Two youths pleaded not guilty at the Sessions Court here to robbing an elderly
man of his wallet. The duo, JohariSupian and JohariLoji, were accused of robbing
ChiengUngKwong, 72, while he was having a walk at the Bukit Lima Forest Park at
9.45am on May 26. Chieng’s wallet contained RM2,500, S$3,000 and his personal
documents. They were charged under Section 395 of the Penal Code and read together
with Section 397 of the same code. They face a jail term of up to two years and whipping
if convicted.
