THE PROMISE

In a little town lived Isabella and his family, she
was a pretty girl who loved to help others,
especially his younger brother who suffered
from a serious illness. When Isabella had five
years old, her brother was born, but
unfortunately, he could never walk, due to a
problem in his spine. Since then, Isabella
became to be his best friend, always taking care
of his little brother.

Some years later, Isabella and his brother got


along and she promised her brother to study
very hard, to win a university scholarship and
become a doctor and to cure him. Isabella's
parents were very poor so she would have to
make an effort to achieve her dreams.

In the school Isabela always had the first place


and when Isabella grew up, she finally won a
scholarship in the university. When she received
it news, she Cheered up because finally her
dream come true, she would be a doctor and
one day, she would help her brother and he
could walk and have a better quality of life.

At the age of seventeen years old, Isabella had


come away of his town and she had very sad to
leave her family and moved in to the city to
started her studies. The day she left, her family
told her “Break a leg”.

When Isabel arrived in the city, she was very


excited but also very scared, but she come
across quickly a room to live and she got by to
got a job as a waitress in a restaurant and she
took up earning her own money.

The college in the medical career Isabella


quickly became the best student, 5 years later
she graduated with honors and she was set up
to work in one of the most prestigious hospitals
in the city and she came around. Then she
decided go on her postgraduate studies.

With this job, Isabela felt very satisfied because


first of all she was helping a lot of people, but
especially because with the money that was
earning, she could pay her brother's surgery.

when she had enough money, brought her


family to the city so that they could live with her
and be able to carry out her brother's surgery.
Isabela's family were very happy because they
were together again and they had looked
forward this moment for many years.
A few weeks later the surgery was carried out,
which was successful, leaving as a result that
the young man stood up and walked out for the
first time in his life and that he gets over
quickly.

To celebrated the recovery and Get on of her


brother Isabella decided to go with her family on
a trip so that they knew the sea. This trip was
very exciting for everything, because none of
them had gone to the sea before.

The family traveled by plane, at the airport they


had to waited, but after few hours the plane
finally took off. When they arrived at the airport
they Checked in before boarding the plane.

When the family arrived at the hotel, they had


filled in the entry form. The first day in the hotel,
they decided to eat out, to go to the restaurant
they put on elegant clothes. when they arrived,
his mother said this place is “as right as rain”.
During the dinner, Isabela gave out some gifts
to her family.

when they returned to the hotel Isabela said “I


am exhausted, it’s time for me to hit the sack.

The next day they went to the beach and


Isabella told her brother “you are as red as a
beetroot”. So, Isabel said she didn't know how
to swim and her brother answered “swimming is
a piece of cake”.

During the trip Isabella told her family "these


have been the happiest days" and his brother
responded “you can say that again”, the parents
said “See eye to eye”. The mother “said my
children are wonderful” the father answered “A
chip off the old block”.

Thanks to effort and dedication of Isabella, her


brother could have a normal life so he could
start his studies and be a great professional.

Ten years later Isabella and her brother came


back to town for founded a hospital in their
town, with which they could help many poor
families and carry out the dream that Isabela
had since she was a child to be able to help
many people. And they lived happily ever after.
