how old is the Earth? What is Earth Science?
Explore
Divide the class into 5 groups. Provide each group with cut out words (sciences and definitions) and ask them to
arrange the cut out words in the manila paper.
Explain
Call a volunteer from each group to share their output to the class.
The students are expected to present the sciences that collectively make up earth science.
Elaborate
The teacher will further explain the concepts of the day.

papers with the description of each subsystem and let them identify which of those best describes a certain
subsystem based from what they had learned from their Junior High School. They will write their answer on the
manila paper.
